Build a Standardized Enterprise Prompt Library for Your Team
Standardize AI workflows across your enterprise by deploying a central prompt library.
Use the Organizational Prompt Library in Microsoft 365 to upload and share high-performing prompts with your entire department via CSV import.
The Scenario
You are an IT admin or team lead who wants to ensure everyone on your team uses the same optimized prompts for monthly reporting and data analysis.
Before & after
Managers usually email Word docs or PDF 'cheat sheets' of prompts to their teams, hoping employees read and save them. This takes 30-45 minutes to document and usually results in low adoption.
With an organizational prompt library, you can import pre-formatted CSVs to give everyone instant access to high-quality prompts. This takes about 2-3 minutes to upload and distribute to the whole team.
The Prompt
Build a CSV file for Microsoft 365 Copilot Organizational Prompts with the following headers: Title, Display Prompt, Prompt Language, Task Type, Department, Supported Apps, Description. Use 'Analyze' or 'Create' for Task Type and 'en-US' for Language.
Admins can use the CSV import process to populate the Microsoft 365 Copilot Organizational Prompts library. Fields like 'Task Type' and 'Language' require specific values (e.g., 'Analyze', 'en-US'), while 'Title' and 'Description' allow for custom explanations.
